On Thursday, September 15, our community lost JoAnn Kessler, a woman who was committed to all kids in Dane County. JoAnn was deeply compassionate, funny, and dedicated. She was a founding mother of Safe Harbor, working as a tireless advocate for children and families. When families came to Safe Harbor at one of the worst moments of their lives, JoAnn listened with endless patience and compassion, and advocated passionately for their needs. She improved the lives of kids and families every day with her work throughout many organizations in Dane County and throughout her life. Take a minute to read her story, and do something that helps a child today.

Celebrate Safe Harbor's good work with local professionals and members of the community who believe in and support Safe Harbor's work and service.

All funds raised at the Rent Event will go towards our annual rent, which keeps our doors open for kids.
